beware the cockroach!

Fatal effects from stamping on a cockroach – an inquest was held at Bristol on Monday, before the city coroner, on the body of Elizabeth Dowding, aged 73, widow of a Bristol merchant. About three weeks ago the deceased had occasion to go into the kitchen, where she saw a cockroach, which she stamped upon, causing both the bones of her left leg to be broken. Her death occurred last Saturday. The jury brought in a verdict. “Died from compound fracture of her left leg, caused by stamping on a cockroach.”

Found this while doing some research. hrm. I'm almost done... just a complete day of writing left. growl. :)
